Psam 53
1 The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none who does good. 2 God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. 3 Everyone of them has turned aside; They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one. 4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon God? 5 There they are in great fear Where no fear was, For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you; You have put them to shame, Because God despised them. 6 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.
My thoughts
I was just reading a verse about not being afraid and trusting in God when I suddenly landed on this chapter. My heart was beating fast.
“Lord, are you angry?” I asked.
I just feel sad for Him. How many times did God reach to the people? How many times did he knock to the door of our hearts, waiting for us to open it? How many times did He wait at night for us to tell him what had happened the whole day or wait for us in the morning to thank Him for another day. He wants to hear from us. Even though he sees us everyday, He knows every detail in our lives, he still wants to hear from us. He is constantly waiting for us to run to Him.
Everyone is busy.
Busy making a living when HE is life, and our provider. Busy making ourselves comfortable and entertained in our own ways when HE is comforter. Busy hurting ourselves by comparing and measuring our lives to other peoples lives when HE told us in His Word “You are fearfully and wonderfully made” “You are unique” and “You are loved”
“No , not one”
In verses 2 and 3 of Psalm 53 say;
2 God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. 3 Everyone of them has turned aside; They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one.
I can imagine His sadness. I can even imagine His tears whenever He looks down. NO one does good.
We are all guilty. We don’t spend time with Him, maybe not as much as before or maybe not at all. I am sure he is also in pain while all around the world is affected by the pandemic. He allows things to happen. I still believe God has a great purpose for everything. I may not enumerate them one by one, I know deep down in your heart, God is speaking and He wants to say something. Take your time to reflect, to listen.
GOD is real and HE is alive. HE gives and takes away. Surely, these (the Godless ones) people are asking and debating ‘If your God is real and if he loves the world, why did He let these things happened?’
Let me tell you. God is love. He loves everyone, dearly. HE is so loving but HE is also a JUST God. He disciplines his children. Sometimes it’s gonna be painful for us to learn lessons, learning things the hard way.
If He is speaking during this time, why don’t you listen? Why don’t you stop for a while and think deeply. Be quiet in your room and listen to Him. He will speak to you, you will hear His voice if you seek Him with all your heart.
You will seek Me and find Me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

I pray that you’ll encounter HIM in a very special way.
Stay safe.
