She used to be the friend you could share your life with. Someone whom you can be with without hesitation and pretension. A friend but it feels like you’re family.
You shared some of your secrets, even the deepest ones. Because you trusted her so much, thought there’s forever with this kind of friendship. Thought it’s real.
How do we deal with this? Don’t get attached too much. It was indeed a mistake. I do care.. TOO MUCH. To the point, I had a hard time letting go. I used to believe that once you are friends, that should be a FOREVER.
I was wrong. So let go. No need to cling to someone. It is okay to defriend someone. Especially if they are toxic, negative.
But what would you feel if someone thought of you as the toxic one? Let it go. People has different views of us. You do good things to them, they will still say something. That’s human’s nature. Even it hurts you, let it go. Even though you know, you only cares. LET GO. You do not need to explain yourself.
The truth is, it is not easy to trust someone now. One day you are good friends, the next day you guys are enemies. It’s sad. But this is the reality.
Please don’t let this situation take away your spark, your love. Your love for others and for self. Embrace the fact that not all people who came to our lives will stay ’til the end. Just focus and value the people who stay with you no matter what.
The best thing to do now is learn to LET GO. Because here’s the truth PEOPLE COME AND GO.
